This small electric motor turns the flames on Roll n Glow fireplaces. It has 2 long wires that are routed into the control area of cabinet. This motor is located in the back of the log set picture window. Repair time is about an hour. Metal cabinet is removed from wood mantel, top is removed, followed by the glass panel, log set, and black screen. Motor is detached from flame set and replaced. Common ailments to replace motor include, squeaky or grinding noise while unit is running. No motion of flames or very jumpy or intermittent flame roll.
